Meet the Doctor
Born and raised in Toronto, Dr. Sonia Penaroza now resides in Lakeway with her family, where she owns Golden Ears Audiology. Fluent in English, Spanish, Ukrainian, French, and Polish, she earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto, the #1 ranked school in Canada, and completed her Doctor of Audiology training at Northwestern University, home to the #2 ranked audiology program, where she learned from faculty who helped invent many of the techniques audiologists use today. Her passion is helping people improve their lives in real ways through holistic, evidence-based care that goes beyond hearing aids to include therapy, treatment, and coaching.
