She earned her Bachelor’s in human biology, linguistics, and French from the University of Toronto in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and received her Doctorate in Audiology from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Although Dr. Penaroza is well-versed in all aspects of hearing and balance healthcare, she specializes in diagnostic testing. She was inspired to become an audiologist by her brother, who was born with hearing loss, and her curiosity about human communication and interactions. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is fluent in English, Spanish, Ukrainian, French, and Polish, allowing her to provide compassionate, personalized care to a diverse range of patients.
Beyond her professional work, Dr. Penaroza is deeply involved in her community. She serves as a choir director and board member at St. Andrew's the First Called Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church and is an active parishioner at Emmaus Catholic Church.
Committed to health and longevity, Dr. Penaroza follows a lifestyle centered on nutrition, exercise, and overall wellness. She enjoys weightlifting, traveling, and watching sporting events, applying the same dedication to her personal health as she does to her patients' hearing and quality of life.
